Everything you need to know about using YesNoMaybe.Love
How To Use
Step 1: Choose a Survey
Pick a survey that interests you from the home page (Intimacy, Values, Life Goals, or Relationship
Goals).
Step 2: Answer Honestly (Privately)
Browse through the questions and select Yes, No, or
Maybe based on your true feelings. Your answers are stored only on your
local device—they are never sent to our servers or stored in a way we can see.
Step 3: Share with Your Partner
To compare results, you need to "connect" with your partner using your 6-digit UserID found in the
Share tab. Here's how:
Go to the Share tab.
Find your Your Private UserID.
Give this ID to your partner (text, email, or show them your screen).
Ask your partner for their UserID and enter it in the "Sync with Partner" section.
Step 4: View Compatibility
Once both of you have added each other's UserIDs, navigate to the Results tab.
You'll see a breakdown of where you matched perfectly, where you might have room for discussion, and
where your preferences differ.
Note: Syncing only works after both partners have added each other.
Pro Tips
1Take it slow. Choose a category, and answer some or all the questions, then
compare with your partner. Come back and answer more categories and questions later.
2Go into "fast mode": On a survey, choose "Unanswered" and for category choose
All or a single category. Then as you complete each question, it disappears and you can do the
next one. Perfect while running on a treadmill! (You can always see your answers when using the
filter "Answered" or "All").
3Review a few questions at a time with your partner using the two methods to
share and compare. Then pick a new category and add to your list.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my data really private?
Yes! Your answers are stored only on your local device (in your browser's local storage). We
never store or transmit your specific answers to our servers. When you sync with a partner,
only your encrypted User ID is used to match your answers.
Can I delete my answers?
Yes! Go to the Share tab and use the "Clear My Answers" button. This will permanently delete
all your answers from your device. You can also clear your partner's imported answers
separately.
Do I need to create an account?
No! YesNoMaybe.Love works completely anonymously without requiring an account, email, or
password. You just need a 6-digit User ID to sync with partners and view global statistics.
Where do I find my User ID?
Your 6-digit User ID is displayed at the bottom of the Share tab in the "Cloud Sync"
section. It's automatically generated when you first answer questions and upload to the
cloud.
Why do both partners need to add each other's User ID?
This is our "Mutual Consent" privacy feature. You can only see your partner's answers if
they've also added your User ID. This ensures both partners explicitly agree to share
results.
Partner sync isn't working. What should I do?
Make sure: (1) Both you and your partner have entered each other's 6-digit User IDs, (2)
Both of you have uploaded your answers to the cloud (Share tab → Compare Me vs. World
button), and (3) Try using the "Refresh Partner Results" button in the Results tab.
How many questions are there?
Each survey has a different number: Intimacy & Desires (428), Relationship Values (167),
Life Goals (50), and Relationship Goals (150). You don't need to answer all of them—focus on
the categories that interest you!
Do I have to answer every question?
No! Answer only what you're comfortable with. Unanswered questions won't appear in
comparison results. You can always come back and answer more later.
Can I change my answers later?
Yes! Just go back to the Questions tab, use the "Answered" filter, find the question you
want to change, and select a different answer. If you've synced with a partner, remember to
refresh your results.
What do the percentages mean in Partner Results?
100% = Perfect match (both answered the same), 50% = Partial match (one said Maybe), 0% = No
match (opposite answers). The overall compatibility considers all answered questions.
What are Global Results?
Global Results show how your answers compare to everyone else who's opted into sharing
anonymously. You'll see percentage breakdowns of how many people answered Yes, No, or Maybe
for each question.
What do "In Majority" and "In Minority" filters mean?
"In Majority" shows questions where your answer matched the most popular global answer. "In
Minority" shows where your answer had fewer responses than the most popular choice.
Can I use YesNoMaybe on multiple devices?
Your answers are stored locally on each device. To transfer answers, go to Share tab → Copy
Your Answers → paste on the new device using Import My Answers. Your User ID stays the same
across devices if you're synced to the cloud.
Why is there a 21+ age requirement?
YesNoMaybe.Love contains adult themes and intimate questions intended for mature audiences.
We require users to be at least 21 years old to ensure responsible and age-appropriate use.
